Just Juice in the Jungle w/ Pinch & Bassboy

This January, Just Juice is BACK at Queen of Hoxton for our 1st party of 2018 and, to celebrate our return, we’re hosting two of our favourite artists of last year: bass music stalwarts, Pinch and Bassboy, for a “Night in the Jungle!”

Working across Dubstep, Techno, UK Funky, House and various mutated strains of bass-­heavy club music, Pinch has earmarked himself as one of the UK’s bass scene's most accomplished DJs and producers, with releases on some of the biggest labels as well as his own Tectonic imprint. We can’t wait to welcome him into our East London home and see what selections he brings on the night!

Joining him on the night, we have Birmingham’s best kept secret, Bassboy! Having produced some of the biggest tracks in bassline history and has worked with a whole host of vocal talent including Trilla, Kozzie, Autumn Rowe & the legendary MC Skepta. Recently he’s been trying his hand at some 4×4 garage and the results are truly phenomenal (especially his edits of R&B gems we all remember as young’uns). His heavy basslines and ear for infectious, off-kilter drum grooves have seen him frequently featured on Tumble Audio and Various other lineups across the UK and Europe.

Residents Silas & Snare cut their teeth in Leeds running Brotherhood Soundsystem club night, on top of this they were residents for Northern powerhouse Bigger Than Barry as well as Red Eye Hi-fi in Manchester, their home town. Now delivering fresh music via Madam X’s Kaizen label and their own Brotherhood Sound imprint, these boys are one to watch in the coming months.

The ground floor will be hosted by Manu & Ando. You can expect party tunes from around the globe and across the genres from the Tuckshop residents as well as decor, face painters and more when these boys come to town and plie their audience with the finest in musical goodies!
