Shoe making workshop on the rooftop
Greenwich Mean Time
at Queen of Hoxton
Event Details
Grab your tickets here.
Join us in our fabulous Moroccan Medina during their winter season for a special leather slide-making workshop.
What you'll do
- Learn to shape and pin your reclaimed leather or upcycled vegan shoe to the sole
- Handstitch the upper to the sole with waxed linen thread
- Explore the rooftop riad, with cosy wigwam and cacti-filled recreation of the Jardin Majorelle
What's included:
Our experienced makers offer expert instruction and support, and everyone walks out in their own pair of slides. All materials are provided and no experience necessary. All our leather is reclaimed from local factory offcuts, and we have a wide range of colours, textures, and patterns. We use premium jute soles sourced from southern Spain, which is thicker, more robust, and comfier than any other espadrille sole we've seen, so you'll be sure to love wearing your shoes.
Where we'll be:
In the cosy holiday souk on the Queen of Hoxton Rooftop, amid fairy lights, rainbow mezze boards, seasonal cocktails and succulents aplenty.
