Event Details

Tempers are NYC-based duo Jasmine Golestaneh and Eddie Cooper. Their dark electronica sets haunting songwriting to a sinister disco beat, pop melodies floating in an almost industrial soundscape.

Singles from their debut album 'Services' - 'Eyes Wide Wider', 'Hell Hotline' (mixed by Damian Taylor (Bjork)), 'Strange Harvest' and 'Undoing' (mixed by Kevin McMahon (Swans)) received coverage across US and EU blogs including Pitchfork, The Fader, V Magazine, Vice, and Interview. Tempers' new EP, 'Fundamental Fantasy', featuring a remix by Joakim, was released February 2017 via The Vinyl Factory.

Written on the volcanic island of Stromboli at the VF co-curated Volcano Extravaganza festival in 2016, Tempers' left their comfort zone on Fundamental Fantasy, crafting a brooding synth-wave sound that's equal parts dream pop and neo-noir '80s soundtrack. Laced in desire and destruction, the pair say it's a "about fantasy lives swelling out of proportion, and the failure of society's romantic conventions to fulfill our spiritual longing for love."

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Queen of Hoxton generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Queen of Hoxton, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
