Buy Just Juice w/ Roska, Silas & Snare + More Tickets
This May Just Juice is BACK at Queen of Hoxton for our 2nd party of 2017 and to celebrate we’re bringing one of our favourite artists back to our East London home in the form of RInse FM stalwart and base king Roska. On top of this our Just Juice residents and guests will be brining the best in carnival bass music all night long!
Working across UK funky, house and various, mutated strains of bassheavy club music, Roska has earmarked himself as one of the UK’s most accomplished underground exponents.
Through a series of releases via influential dance labels like Numbers, Tectonic and Hotflush, as well as two albums for Rinse Recordings Roska originally blazed a trail for funky to return to the clubs. He has continued to push the sound firmly into the future too, albeit now punctuated by his wider influences, via his own, genreblurring Roska Kicks & Snares (RKS) imprint.
A renowned DJ in his own right, the main man will come armed with a series of fresh remixes, dubs and classics from artists including Matthew Herbert, grimerap star CasIsDead, DJ Fresh and even Diplo, Low Steppa’s & Function!
Residents Silas & Snare cut their teeth in Leeds running Brotherhood Soundsystem club night, on top of this they were residents for northern powerhouse Bigger Than Barry as well as Red Eye Hi-fi in Manchester their home town. Now delivering fresh music via Madam X’s Kaizen label and their own Brotherhood Sound imprint, these boys are one to watch in the coming months.
Completeing the lineup in the basement is Subcuture Sounds. Playing all thing bass and will be holding things down in our basement. Expect a rough mix of hiphop, dnb, reggae, garage and more!
The ground floor will be hosted by Manu & Ando from Tuckshop. You can expect party tunes from around the globe, decor, face painters and more when these boys come to town as these two plie their audience with the finest in musical goodies!
