Cat Lovers at Queen of Hoxton, falls on the last Saturday of every other month, showcasing the most exciting up and coming live acts alongside resident and guest DJs playing house and disco.
We also have plenty of interactive fun planned including surprises from alt-theatre collective THE PEOPLE PILE http://www.thepeoplepile.co.uk/
◁ FYI Chris (Church/Rhythm Section International)
FYI Chris, consisting of two Chris’s – Chris Watson and Chris Coupe – are a couple of similarly named music producers from South London who are rapidly making a name for themselves. This is largely down to the fact that their debut EP, ‘Julliete / No Hurry’- released on Church, received a steaming 3.8 via Resident Advisor, but also because their archive of records would match that of a long serving Disco, House or Techno veteran. I guess working at one of London’s most renowned record stores (Rye Wax) has it’s perks. After dropping their second EP ‘Back In The Millennium’ via Peckham Strong imprint, Rhythm Section INTL, the pair seem to be going from strength to strength.
◁ Georgie Rogers (Virgin Radio / BBC 6 Music)
Our fiery queen of the tunes with a penchant for house and nudisco beats, Georgie has a weekly Music Discovery show on Virgin Radio and is a music journalist on BBC 6 Music, Radio 2 and Apple's Beats 1.
◁ Cat Lovers & Friends
Cat Lovers very own residents playing an infectious mix of sleazy disco and up front house, old and new.
◁ Staś Werno (Chasing Toulouse)
Cat Lovers resident and part of the Chasing Toulouse roster Staś will be pushing the deeper, house-ier side of the spectrum.
◁ Hands Yolo
Our longest standing resident DJ whose sets are as fun as his name. Expect house, disco, garage and straight up party bangers.

WOWH are the London based writing/production duo Nick Harrison and Toby Couling. Forming last year in a studio in Forest Hill they came together to explore a shared love of 60s songwriting / ‘NO FAT’ pop music, groove and synthesisers.
Upcoming electronic pop sensation LOOP has had consistent support from BBC Radio 1 and with good reason. This future starlet is one to look out for.
Mysterious newcomers, more info coming soon.
