Previous Cubed guest Leon Vynehall said it best & succinctly recently when speaking of the German-Venezuelan producer and DJ: 'Word of advice, keep an eye on Moony Me...'.

Characterized by a fondness for Afro-American and Latin American genres (Soul, Jazz, Salsa, Disco and Funk), his music is notable for its clever sampling and the usage of unconventional pitching methods. Latest release 'Closer (To The Edge' is an emotive & wonderful record, one that we have been playing out incessantly, either in the club or within mixes. Interestingly the track does not contain a sample, rather Eduardo improvised into his keyboard to dazzling effect. Likened to the productions of classic Pépé Bradock and Andrés, it pushes all of our buttons.

To date, Moony Me has worked with artists such as Argy, Quell, Jacques Renault, Junktion, Lay-Far, Mr. Statik, Roman Rauch, Nachtbraker, Rhode & Brown and Woodcut, just to name a few. His DJ sets range from atmospheric & deeper tracks right through to more ravey, uplifting house and acid, always with a dreamy touch and a love for jazz-rooted aesthetics.

Our new basement dwelling residents eatmybeat understand warming the floor in the basement better than anybody else in our opinion. A London based hybrid community/brand/record label aiming to promote the tastiest underground flavours across the electronic music spectrum and support the DJs/producers that are behind them.
