Event Details
On Wednesday 18th May London based 3-piece, Desert Sound Colony join us at Queen of Hoxton with their signature sound, inspired by 60’s psychadelia with more than just a hint of modern electronic production.
The band have been making waves since 2014 when their debut EP ‘The Way I began’ gained critical acclaim and led to stateside and European tours alongside New York duo Bob Moses.
Their follow-up EP ‘Cracks’ solidified their well-earned place at the forefront of the London live/electronic scene, and now we’re proud to be working in collaboration with them for the launch of their hotly anticipated third EP ‘Signals’
‘Signals’ drops on May 13th via London label This Is Music and is the first in a series of EPs leading to the release of the band’s debut album.
Support on the night will come from Lunacre. Another mesmerising London (via Cambridge) local band that fuse a lust for breaking electronics with an ear for classic songcraft.
They’ve been likened to Vondelpark and Mount Kimbie, and we can’t wait for them to bring their own brand of moody electronica to the night.
Time: 7pm - 12am
Price: £5
