Event Details

While we can’t remember our own 7th birthday party very well, we expect there was cake, balloons, family & friends, gifts and music a plenty - and this is exactly what you can expect from our birthday party here at Queen of Hoxton.

So it is with great excitement that we announce that this year we are breaking the mould and welcoming The Mouse Outfit to our hallowed basement to showcase their unique fusion of hip hop, soul, jazz, funk and reggae layered with some of the finest bars from insanely talented MC’s... this is one show you don’t wanna miss.

You can expect jaw-dropping lyrical acrobatics alongside some of the smoothest grooves you’ve ever heard.

The band will be supported by QOH residents and friends into the early hours!

Date: 17th March 2015

Times – 8pm – 2am (Band from 9.00pm)

Price: £7 / £9 / £10 - MOTD

The Mouse Outfit

The force of this group of mega talented instrumentalists, producers and emcees is only on the rise… Their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Escape Music’ won UK hip hop album of the year 2013 (Wordplay Magazine) and was ranked in ABC News’ top 50 albums of 2013. They’ve then gone on to sell out Village Underground, gone on several tours, played headline slots at major International Festivals, and released their 2nd album ‘Step Steadier’ earlier this year to even more plaudits.

Featuring an ever-changing lineup of emcee’s, Mouse Outfit are constantly changing things up and keeping things fresh. It is an epic journey that continually builds in tempo and momentum fusing classic jump up themes and hip hop medleys with thumping funk bass lines and classic breaks.

The Mouse Outfit team up once again with key vocalists from the previous album, notably Sparkz, Dr Syntax, Fox, Truthos Mufasa and Dubbul O. In addition, the new album guests Verb T, Jman, Ellis Meade, T-Man and DJ Cutterz.

Who else is excited?
