EDITS presents Daniele Baldelli

Edits is a new super heavy funk night coming to the Queen of Hoxton on the 26th March. Stepping in to the ring for the first instalment we have none other than the Godfather of Cosmic funk… Daniele Baldelli. 

Daniele baldelli is the undisputed king of Cosmic, starting out back in the late 70’s with views of Lake Garda, Baldelli put his stamp on the aptly named Cosmic Club. His style came from playing a diverse range of records from African Folk, reggae and electronica often played at different speeds to create an entirely new track. He describes using the vocals from tracks that he didn’t understand the words too as just another instrument he was manipulating. All creating his totally unique sound.
