Gamerdisco: RICO & Raging Justice

GamerDisco returns to QUEEN OF HOXTON (yes, we had such a good time last month, we're back for round two) for a night of big screen gaming, tournaments, high score challenges, music and more!

This time we're taking to the streets for a bout of kick-ass co-op crime-fighting action with RICO and RAGING JUSTICE, plus more multiplayer favourites and music from ICEFERNO.

RICO
From Ground Shatter and Rising Star Games, RICO is an arcade-style, first-person shooter inspired by modern action cinema. In the game you and a friend play as a pair of loose-cannon police partners, given twenty-four hours to crack a case as part of an elite organised crime taskforce. Planning is tactical rather than strategic, players must react in the moment to shootouts as they unfurl, with additional extra time to assess the situation if they are able to surprise their adversaries. Ammo and enemies are plentiful, and combat is punchy and impactful, supported by an extensive destruction system that ensures every shot looks and feels great.

We'll have high score/time attack challenges on the night, with prizes for the top of the cops, thanks to Rising Star Games!

RAGING JUSTICE
From MakinGames and Team17, RAGING JUSTICE is a modern take on the 2D scrolling brawler that pulls the classic genre kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Whether you dare to take on the criminal world alone, or enlist a friend in a co-op attack, Raging Justice delivers a multitude of ways to defeat your enemies. As you are smashing through a bar fight with a bar stool, mowing down enemies on a lawnmower, or battling terrifying bosses, you can choose to play as good cop or bad cop. Will you arrest the criminals, or pummel them to the ground? The path you choose has consequences and leads to alternate endings.

ICEFERNO
Iceferno has been involved in music most of his life, but only really started creating his own in 2004. His main genre is House though he produces in several others such as Chillout, Trance and their subgenres. Expect a set comprised of tracks from his STREETS OF WRATH albums, including his recent STREETS OF WRATH 2 release, inspired by Yuzo Koshiro & Motohiro Kawashima's highly acclaimed Streets Of Rage 2 soundtrack.
